About the course
An introduction to autism, supportive strategies and the SPELL framework, this one-day introductory course builds your knowledge of autism and how to support autistic children and adults. SPELL is a framework for understanding and responding to autistic people’s needs. It will allow you to develop better practice and use evidence-based strategies to support autistic children and adults.
This course combines our popular individual courses on understanding autism and the SPELL framework into one day. It goes into less depth than the individual courses, but suits many organisations with limited time. If you’re unsure which course will suit you, our training team will be very happy to help. If you require this training as part of the BIS criteria for university mentors and non-medical helpers, read about our course for higher education professionals.
We look forward to seeing you in Manchester!
