This one-day introductory course builds your knowledge of autism and how to support autistic students at university.

SPELL is a framework for understanding and responding to autistic people’s needs. It will allow you to develop better practice and use evidence-based strategies to support autistic students.

Providing learners have a degree, this course meets the BIS criteria for university mentors and non-medical helpers. Visit the DSA-QAG (Disabled Students Allowances Quality Assurance Group) for the full criteria.
