Catatonia can be a severely disabling complication in autistic children and adults. The aim of this Masterclass is to raise awareness and teach professionals about early identification, diagnosis and clinical management strategies of Catatonia states and catatonia like breakdown in autistic people. Participants will gain a good understanding of the concept of Catatonia in the historical context and how it relates to autism and manifests in autistic people.
